Welcome to Les Chalets Kiamika

Our cottages are located in the charming village of Kiamika, in the Upper Laurentian.  Kiamika is conveniently situated approximately two and a half hours from Montreal and, likewise, two and a half hours from Ottawa – or about sixty minutes north of Mont-Tremblant.

In the heart of the wilderness, our cottages are private beach front properties bordering an intimate and peaceful navigable lake.

In addition to a panoramic view of the lake and contrasting mountain sights, the surroundings are a true sanctuary for great outdoor activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking and biking.

The region of Kiamika also offers exceptional fishing and hunting grounds, and the cottage immediately neighbours the north-west entrance to the Papineau-Labelle reserve. 

Louvigny Lake, that is the lake that the Chalets Kiamika cottages is located on, also harbours a challenging variety of fish, including small mouth bass, large mouth bass, walleye, pike and trout.  In other words, the lake and broader region is a year round fishing haven for sports and leisure fishing.

The Papineau-Labelle reserve also provides for lush forests that make for ideal grounds to observe wildlife or to hunt white-tailed deer, bear, ruffed grouse and hare.

Wildlife lovers can also admire a variety of flora and fauna and interpret nature’s wonders and beauty.  In the fall, the foliage is simply breathtaking with striking contrast between the colourful leaves in all of their splendour.

Les Chalets Kiamika is also an ideal asylum for snowmobile and ATV enthusiasts as the cottage road leads to a wide range of federation trails to discover.

The cottages offers the basic comforts of home and comprises two bedrooms and a mezzanine making for suitable accommodation for a maximum of ten persons.  The standard cottage rental includes use of a pedal boat and of a row boat.  

Upgrades include rental of an electric engine ideal for fishing or a quiet en ecological cruise of Louvigny Lake.  Options also include reserving the services of our guide for a day of informed ATV or snowmobile trailing.
